The Vice-Chancellor Maseno University Prof. Julius Nyabundi visited the Department of Animal and Fisheries Sciences, and Dr. Erick Ogello, the Department chair, gave him a guided tour of the fish farm. The VC appreciated the state-of-the-art aquaponic system that integrates fish and vegetable production. This is a climate-smart food production system under the Food Systems and Climate (FOSC) project, funded by the National Research Fund (NRF).
